Chris has been practicing, studying, and teaching yoga since 2008. Like many fitness enthusiasts, she was first drawn to yoga for its physical benefits—strength, balance, and flexibility. But as she began to experience a deeper mind-body connection, greater peace of mind, and a more grounded sense of balance in her life, yoga became much more than exercise. She was hooked.
An E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance instructor, Chris teaches a thoughtful, breath-centered style of vinyasa designed to feel like a moving meditation. Her classes emphasize safe alignment, mindful movement, and presence, while leaving students enough space to explore, listen to their bodies, and let the practice feel good. She encourages each student to discover greater strength and ease—and to find moments of lightness and joy both on and off the mat.
Chris has studied with teachers from a variety of lineages and yoga traditions around the world. She remains a passionate student of yoga and meditation, continually bringing curiosity, warmth, and fresh insight to her teaching.
In addition to weekly classes, Chris leads workshops, yoga teacher trainings, and international retreats that weave together yoga, meditation, nature, travel, and meaningful new experiences. Her hope is to help others move, breathe, and notice more deeply—cultivating the courage, balance, and connection needed to live more fully.
When she isn't teaching or practicing, Chris can often be found guiding group tours in France for Rick Steves Europe https://www.ricksteves.com/ or her own tours with Chocolate Suitcase https://chocolatesuitcase.com/. Her love of travel and exploring somewhere new inspires her teaching and her belief that stepping beyond the familiar—whether on the mat or out in the world—can help us rediscover our strength, curiosity, and joy in the day-to-day.
